I have been exploring the plants around Royal NP particularly in the rainforest areas. One of the first tracks that I walked was Forest Path, which is an easyish 4.4km loop track containing a wide range of rainforest species.
The first time I started the loop walking west from Sir Bertram Stevens Drive. Although the other direction might be better. At the beginning of the path is wet eucalypt forest with a range of wet forest species, including Syncarpia glomulifera, Notelaea venosa, Myrsine howittiana, Trochocarpa laurina, some small Cryptocarya microneura, and the occasional Rhodamnia rubescens.
